Our Training Program
Full Training
As a client of Isola Stables, you and your horse will receive elite training and lessons from highly experienced and accomplished trainers. David Murdoch, a veteran Grand Prix show jumper, oversees the Hunter/Jumper program.
We specialize in customized programing for each rider and horse pair to achieve their goals and full potential. Each rider gets a customized lesson plan and schedule which includes group lessons, private lessons and access to clinics from top trainers. In addition, Isola trainers can ride and train your horse to supplement the training from your curriculum. Our focus is to constantly improve both rider and horse.
As part of the Full Training program, your horse will be boarded at our stables and cared for full-time by our team of grooms. All of the staff at Isola Stables is trained to focus on the physical and mental wellbeing of the horse. Horses are treated with the upmost respect and care and have access to all of the state of the art equipment at the stable.
Competitions
Isola Stables regularly travels along the west coast matching shows with the level of experience of our riders and horses. We pride ourselves in your success while remaining committed to the joy of the sport. We enjoy what we do and spend time building the camaraderie of the team. Our experienced trainers will ensure a fun and successful experience at any level. The horses are always treated with upmost care throughout the show process to ensure a healthy, happy and exceptional showing.
Lessons
If you don’t own a horse, Isola Stables is the best place to get back into riding. We offer experienced, athletic and beautiful horses who are ready to show at all levels.
Our trainers will work with you to create a customized program and match you with the right horse in order to develop your riding abilities. Isola clients have opportunities to schedule private and group lessons. Often their program uses a combination of both to develop the horse and rider pair.
Beginner Programs
Riding Club
Welcome to students of all ages! Riders will receive a solid foundation in Hunt seat Equitation and Classical Riding. Students will find a fun and safe learning environment with our personable staff and outstanding team of school horses. The Riding Club offers summer camps too!
